Well it officially been two whole months of going to the gym five days a week. I feel better than I ever have in my entire life. I have so much more energy and such a brighter outlook on life in general. Being healthy is a must, your body needs physical activity. People say “well I work construction I get enough physical activity all day long.“ I have been in construction my entire adult life and it’s not enough. EPIGENETICS: WHY YOUR GENES DON'T MATTER
Let's face it, we've all come across those people... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
"I just can't lose weight, it MUST be my genetics." ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
"I just can't gain any muscle, DAMN my skinny genes!" ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
"I can't help that I have weird feet, it's just my genetics!" (Ok, just me on that one?) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Well the next time someone tries to blame their inability to lose weight on their genetics, throw this one at them... EPIGENETICS.
It's a scary, very scientific sounding word and it'll make people think that you actually know what you're talking about.
But basically it is the study of biological mechanisms that will switch genes on and off.
In other words, YES you are born with a set of genes, but that does not determine your lot in life.
Instead, what IS important are which ones are switched on and which ones are switched off.
And the things that determine which genes get switched on or off? - Diet
- Your environment
And this is what caused that lightbulb moment for me when it came to my nutrition.
That my choices LITERALLY determine which of my genes get turned on or off.
It made me realise that what I put in my body really DOES matter, and that everything I do has an impact on my physical and mental health.
And yes, some people are dealt a shittier hand than others, and some people DO get lucky. But it's not about the hand you're dealt, it's about how you play with what you've got.
So I'm sorry if I've destroyed the illusion that it's out of your control.
But for me, this is one of the most empowering bits of knowledge I've gained over the years.

What comes to mind on seeing this?
You put on different masks to navigate through the plethora of social situations we find ourselves in on the day to day.
It could be with family, with friends, with work colleagues, at prestigious social events and etc.
Do you know who you really are behind the many masks you’ve been wearing for soo long?
Are you in alignment with who God created you to be?
What purpose does your life serve?
Are you giving your gifts to the world?
Or are you hoarding them selfishly to yourself.
Whatever it is, be true to WHO YOU ARE inside.
Throw away the masks and embrace your uniqueness.
Don’t hide your true essence from the world.
The world needs more authenticity
Be an example and let your light shine
Empty your cup of what you think you know and open yourself up to the possibilities this multiverse has to offer.
You are light
You are god
You are powerful
You are love
Never forget that.
In order to achieve a level of success you’ve never achieved, whether with your Physique, your Career, your Relationships, there is a price to be paid. And you must be willing to get comfortable at being uncomfortable. Getting outside your comfort zone, to force yourself to stretch and grow into what you are trying to become.
If your not willing to get uncomfortable, forget it! You get nothing in this world without paying a price for it. A exchange of something, it might be money, time, effort, longer hours, more reading, less sleep, going to seminars, maybe all of the above!
Whatever it is you are striving for,
You need to know if you are one who will pay, or are you someone who wants a free ride? A easy way out?
And be real, don’t Bullshit yourself! If you have the awareness to know that you’re not willing to pay the price it will take, then maybe it’s time to reevaluate things and see what it is you really want? Not what you think you want!
Many people are afraid of making the change, because they are afraid of who they may have to become to achieve it, and the current things in their lives they will have to stop and give up to achieve it. They are simply not willing to pay the price!
The hard truth is, you have to become a different individual to get to higher level. It won’t happen by staying who you are. You can’t just acquire it, you have to become it!

There's no secret training plan, quick fix diet you haven't heard about or supplement you haven't bought.
It's simply energy in V energy out.
Burn more then you eat.
You cannot out train a bad diet.
Stop looking for a quick fix and do the necessary work. Eat less. Move more.
