Lately I've been trying to finish series I started a long time ago but never finished. I was really glad to finish Agota Kristof's trilogy. It's writing is so simple yet powerful. Kristof puts on paper a multi-layer story that is so rich on emotions that you can't help but see the (terrible) truth behind it.
Shelfie at the shop! Waaaaaay back in January some of y’all may remember the hoarder house we picked. Well, in that place was a large case full of holiday paper die cuts, melted popcorn decor, NOS 60s and 70s paper party goods, old trick or treat bags, and Halloween goodie bags from the 60s galore. I held on to it all...stored it away...and brought it all out this week. I will be gradually stocking it all at the antique mall and the Mulberry. I started today by creating this fall/ turkey display at @goldsboroantiquemall Christmas has already started making its way in too little by little. I have 6-7 large totes full of Christmas stored away I will start work on this next week inspecting, cleaning, and tagging. It’s all gotta get moved in within the next 2 months. October is kind of a bit late to start. The holidays are fast approaching and I for one am ready for the brisk cold, pies, baking, long sleeves and boots, and for bugs to go back into Satan’s lair where they belong.
