This weekend finished The NYC60K. In Central Park - 9 loops 🔁. Earning this huge belt buckle in return for the efforts! Went straight for the Top of the Rock - Rockefeller after the finish line 🏁 for some stunning views of the park and the rest of Manhattan. NYC had a decent snowfall ❄️ a couple of days before but the conditions were perfect💯. The @nyrr volunteers brilliant and out in force🙏. The ability to access your own bag after each loop was a treat and allowed us to run baggage less! Whilst I’m not a fan of running an ultra on tarmac I thought this was a great experience and a credit to NYC and New York Road Runners 🔝🇺🇸🏃♂️🍏👍🌨😎
My #medalmonday is the proudest one I’ve done yet. Decided to tackle the #spartanultra on Saturday, and for some crazy reason the beast on Sunday to get my x4 and x5 trifecta for the year. This was one incredible and unbelievable weekend. Thanks @ocr.matthew.steven87 for running every mile of it with me. Now to spend the next few days recovering
Last #medalmonday of 2018! The @dietzandwatson Philadelphia Half Marathon is officially my favorite race to date. The course is fairly flat, scenic, and there’s a lot of brotherly love along the way. As a Mets fan it kills me to admit, Philly is pretty cool 🙊 Looking forward to getting a PR in 2019!
