Had a great time fishing the @mondo.tackle invitational at Lake of the Ozarks with Ronnie Kane yesterday. They had an awesome turnout and payback. There were lots of nice fish brought to the scales. Ronnie and I finished 9th and had second big bass earning us a little pocket change. Thanks to Raymond and Brian for the invite and congrats to Paul and Jeff combs on the win! Be sure to stop by @mondo.tackle if you are in the Kansas City area. It’s a great shop with a lot of tackle you won’t find at other stores.
Sucked with daily hair inspiration photos. I’m sorry about that.🤷🏻♀️
So stay tuned as I post another photo of how I wear my hair later on today.
But for now I love some good smoothing iron curls. They give my hair the most perfect texture to play in.
Do you love smoothing iron curl? Do you know how to achieve them? If not let me know and I would love to give you a tutorial.❤️
1st Trail Race done ✅
Big THANK YOU to @bassprofitness for letting me run your beautiful race, getting me all set up with a bib and taking care of me. You and your volunteers are nothing short of amazing. Your love for the sport was evident all weekend! .
❗️It was 19 at the start & never got above 20 degrees the entire time I was on the trail ❄️
❗️My water and neck gaiter froze-peep my pics 🤣
❗️7 water crossings which takes me to my next point...
❗️I was hypothermic! My face was so frozen I couldn’t see anything more than 10ft in front of me. Disappointed I couldn’t enjoy more of the view but in the moment my only goal was not to trip and keep the guy in the red shirt in eye sight! .
❗️I power-hiked all the crazy, steep inclines like a champ! My downhill running needs a TON of work. I’m too timid on the declines. .
❗️Age is nothing but a # on the mountain. It’ll keep you honest in your fitness. There were seasoned men and women out there bounding down the descents and owning their race. So impressive!
❗️6th in AG out of 42
❗️9.78mi at a 10:57 pace for those who care. Nothing to write home about but I managed a strong finish with my last split at a 6:00 pace. Despite the frozen, wet legs they still felt fresh so I just went for it 😂 and who doesn’t like a strong finish?! 🤷🏻♀️
❗️I can’t wait to do another!
