WHO DOESN’T WANT BIGGER ARMS?
You might think I’m doing curls wrong...
There is nothing at all wrong with curling with your elbows at your sides, are you getting a full contraction though?
Your bicep has many functions:
1️⃣ Bends your arm
2️⃣ Supinates your arm
▶️▶️ BONUS ▶️▶️ It also flexes your shoulder (lifts your upper arm upwards) along with the front deltoid.
You can get extra range of motion out of your curls by ‘curling’ up a little higher to the forehead
➡️ Try something now:
Squeeze your bicep like you’re doing a normal curl, feel a bit of a squeeze?
Now squeeze it while lifting your arm upwards like I am in the video. If you’re squeezing it hard enough it will cramp. That’s your fully shortened biceps talking to you 💪
