Choosing winners for the BBY is always the most difficult for me. I watch these ladies grow in so many ways over the course of 10 weeks. Each has her own story, her own obstacles, each daily routine is different from the next. It's important to know that so many could be winners each round and by me choosing a winner doesn't mean 1 is any better than another. I'm so proud of all of the ladies who used this program to the best of their abilities and completed the program with pride and confidence.
Congratulations to the 1st Winner of the BBY!! .
I wanted to say thank you Sami for all your guidance and advice during the past 10 weeks. Before I joined this challenge I reached a plateau, where I felt as if I was always working out and eating what I thought was “healthy” but I stayed the same weight and didn’t see progress. I joined this challenge because I trusted your knowledge about fitness and appreciate that you only advised working towards habits that you can sustain as a lifestyle. I am happy to say that I dropped 14.3 pounds and 14.5 inches total! I’ve gained a better understanding of health and fitness with this challenge and learned to give up unnecessary sugar/processed carbs I would normally eat throughout the day, and I’ve learned how to appropriately weigh and portion my food. Another big thing for me was saying no to unhealthy food around me at the hospital (Joy is a nurse), and how to order healthier food options when I am eating at a restaurant. I am extremely happy with my results!
Lost 14.3 lbs!
Lost 14.5 inches!
Gained lean muscle mass!
Gained knowledge and new lifelong habits!
I'm really proud of you, Joy! You stayed dedicated to this program. You stayed focused. You were motivated to learn and implement it into your life in a healthy and habitual way. You've improved your self-control and are proud to say no at times! Now let's see you continue these changes into the next challenge! :)
Joy won a cash prize, a complimentary @ptulaactive outfit and also enrollment into the next challenge!
“If your scared to fail, you won’t fail.” .
Being scared to fail in life will NOT keep you from failing. .
Failure + success are not opposites.
They are partners. You cannot have one without the other. They’re a combined package. .
So if you want to succeed, you have to fail over + over again. .
Failure isn’t permanent .

I know I’ve already posted this to my stories before but I just had to post it on my feed too. Let’s talk about dreams...
I have some goals & dreams - some are small and some are REALLY big and scary!! And that’s a good thing!
You need some big goals to work on. It fuels your motivation and perseverance! It fuels the fire inside of you! 🔥
I know everyone has experience days where they feel lazy, unhappy, unmotivated, and wondering where their life is even going?? If you get to this point I want you to stand up and say out loud “I am worthy of GREATNESS!”
Also, please note: there will be times you’re feeling UP and down during your journey. Please remember that no one is perfect. We all have our moments. It’s all apart of life. Just remember to give yourself grace. ✨
