Another Friday, another blissful cacao smoothie.
I have been craving ice cream, ice cream sandwiches, something cool, creamy chocolaty,salty AND refreshing- but I don't want all the crap and fillers, and I can only visit @frankieandjos so many times in a month, so I give you:
The Cooling Tahini Mint Chocolate Smoothie-
Start with a plant mylk base, add:
1tbsp raw cacao
1tbsp cacao nibs
1/8tsp mint extract
1/2-1 tsp vanilla extract or beans, powder, whatever ya got.
1tbsp almond butter
1tbsp sesame seeds for seed-cycling
1tbsp MCT oil
Pinch pink Himalayan salt
Blend in Vitamix or high-speed blender. Drink immediately.

It’s always good to capture a moment like this, especially since it was minutes before we hopped into the car for a 7 hour ride. 😳
Becoming a mom at 26, 28 & 31 lent completely different perspectives each time. I realize now that it was natural to grow and change with each baby and I definitely realize now that that’s what makes them all stubbornly unique. 😉
Most recently I’ve also realized that I was definitely not the best version of myself for many of those early years. ✨
In fact it was like a goddamn roller coaster ride that only seemed to stop to have another baby and another. I never paused to assess my own health; the idea of self-care was nonexistent, the idea of alternative care was also nonexistent and to be honest who had the time. ✨
This isn’t about obtaining perfection, but rather patience and acceptance. It’s about finding what fills you up and leaning in HARD. ✨
These days when it comes to these 3 that means MANY hugs & kisses, conversations and being present. Don’t worry...we balance that out with bickering, arguments, annoying moments and too much screen time some days too. ✨
Life isn’t linear. I can appreciate that now. Actually, I appreciate me now too. ✨

For years I would buy them but I eventually realized that most were not made with the cleanest ingredients. I started making this one with non dairy milk, banana, dates, almond butter, cinnamon, and ice. Basically tastes likes dessert!

Needing all the help I can get to finish this week! 😳 it’s our anniversary 😍 but I’m feeling super run down! 😴 Mama can’t be on the struggle bus when it’s time to celebrate, so I had to swing thru @nsb_masonbar this morning! The plan is to flood my body with antioxidants, vitamins + nutrients as much as possible, as FAST as possible, + juices are the easiest way to do just that. 👌🏻
Snagged a #PalmFrond juice with lots of cleansing + alkalizing green goodness like kale, parsley, cucumber, + a zing of lemon juice. It’s one of my favorites! .
Also picked up the one true juice love of the Kishy women to have for later as well — the #MermaidKiss! 🧜🏼♀️💋🍉 It’s so hydrating with the watermelon, + gives those earthy trace minerals from delicious beets. 😍 It’s a treat! We freeze it into popsicles sometimes, if we don’t guzzle it all down right away.
But first, caffeine. Tried something new with the Joe Cool smoothie — cacao + coffee ( #antioxidants 💪🏻 and much needed energy!), maca (energy + great hormone support) , + reishi, an adaptogenic mushroom that’s supposed be amazing for lots and lots of stuff! It’s yummy 😋 .
Now it’s time to get the house polished up + pretty before VPK pickup so we can go swimming after school like I promised my sweet little student! 🏊🏻♀️💦❤️

Day 29 - Friday Inspiration
Last night I received this message from a young lady whom I had the pleasure of coaching when I was the Witches 14U softball coach. She has been following my posts and told me they have been helping her. She has a beautiful soul and I am grateful to know her. Her message truly touched me as I am someone who is trying to make a difference in people’s lives. I started this health coach journey a month ago and I hope to have an impact on more and more people every day. I know what I have been called to do in my life and I am truly blessed to be able to pursue my dreams.
