Very excited to visit Bahrain as a speaker at the 10th international conference by Bahrain chapter of ICAI.

Another privilege of being the only woman speaker among the 17 speakers.

Too many people are chasing it. But no one seems to grasp the hold of it. I understand that it’s overly optimistic to believe that happiness is constant BUT my personal 2 cents about chasing happiness is, STOP CHASING IT. Haha. Got you there didn’t I? So why do I say this?
I’ve been observing and analysing (yes I’m pretty observant) the happiness “culture” nowadays amongst my friends, relatives, etc. I realised one huge issue or you can call it a problem if you’d like.
The problem is, when people are chasing for true happiness, they tend to look for outlets to do so. For example, going to the gym, clubbing, bars, parties, hanging out with friends, smoking idk wtv. It’s obvious this is a natural thing to do whilst going through a situation. We all need a break and each of us have different outlets.
But here’s where the problem lies. The problem is the approach to chasing happiness is to FORGET and neglecting every actual problem you’re going through and covering it up with these “outlets”. In other words, people tend to not want to confront or deal with the core/real thing that’s bothering them. And this leads to people living with these “happy masks” on a daily, constantly using these “outlets” as a fasad of happiness.
This isn’t the healthiest way to approach chasing happiness and for me personally, I truly believe in dealing with the core issue itself and overcome the barrier that’s stopping you from happiness. If not, you’ll just be another puppet in the crowd of other puppets. Haha. It’s time to deal with things. It’s not easy, but it’s a very adult thing to do which most adults don’t. It’s time to take a very necessary step for your own life my friends! :) as always, I’m always here to listen to anyone’s story. Dm me, text me, email me, call me, wtv.
So, let me know what you think about my view! Or you may give your opinion regarding “chasing happiness” in the comments section! #life#happiness
